Healing affirmations can be a powerful way of directing your thoughts to something positive. It can also help to train your brain to accept a new thought or let go of worry.
I love using affirmations in my healing journey. They have made a big impact on my mental health if I am worrying about my health, job, or anything else that feels stressful.
How To Use Healing Affirmations
I also use affirmations in my morning routine to start off my meditation, or as I lay on my acupressure mat. I also like to write them on a sticky note to put on my bathroom mirror.
What Makes a Healing Affirmation?
Affirmations for healing are positive statements that you can get on board with! It has to be something that you believe (or may be able to believe). If deep down it doesn’t feel genuine, your mind or body will immediately respond with “no I don’t”, and that won’t help. Modify it or choose one that feels true for you, or potentially COULD feel true for you.
For example, my favorite affirmation begins with “I am healing, healed, and _____”. This feels true for me because some parts of me are still healing and some parts feel healed. It gives me space for both.
